Julian Meagher
Julian Meagher is a contemporary Australian artist based in Sydney. His work challenges the notion of personality by addressing the relationship between the internal and external workings of the body. Julian draws on the field of medical imaging to explore the ways that the body is depicted.
Classically trained in Australia and Italy in oil on canvas portraiture, his work has evolved to include oil paintings on X-Rays and Bone Scans. He has exhibited in multiple solo and group shows both locally and overseas.
